Ecas valves
ECAS valves control electronically operated air suspension. They adjust ride height automatically based on load and road conditions, enhancing stability and comfort.
The ECAS valve (Electronically Controlled Air Suspension) is a key component in air suspension systems for trucks, trailers, and buses. It receives input from the ECAS control unit and regulates the air pressure sent to the air springs, automatically adjusting the ride height depending on vehicle load or driving dynamics.
Unlike manual valves, ECAS valves allow for real-time adjustment during motion or loading, improving handling, ride quality, and load distribution. In many cases, height can also be manually controlled for ease of loading and unloading.
Due to their electronic complexity, these valves are more vulnerable to issues such as sensor failure, moisture ingress, or wiring problems. A faulty ECAS valve can result in incorrect height levels, warning messages, or reduced vehicle stability.
