The founding: A flying start

In 1993, a year full of important events such as the inauguration of Bill Clinton as president of the United States, the introduction of Intel's first Pentium chip, and the Maastricht Treaty that enabled the creation of the European Union, Sanders Parts was also founded. Luc Sanders then took the first steps in specialised truck parts sales for MAN trucks in Belgium.

With only three product groups, but with a wealth of purchasing experience and a solid dose of ambition, Sanders Parts immediately started offering high-quality parts. Thanks to the ability to deliver at very short notice and a good understanding of the market, the main objective from the start was to competitively market original parts from first-time assembly suppliers.

The first milestone: Moving to Lebbeke

After a promising start, the first phase of growth was not long in coming. In 1995, a strategic decision was taken: the purchase of building land in a new industrial zone in Lebbeke. This step marked the ambition to facilitate Sanders Parts' further expansion.

The new premises were built with a view to future growth and optimising our business processes. The move to this modern building was successfully completed at the end of 1996. This move meant not only increased warehouse capacity, but also a significant improvement in our operational efficiency. The new premises provided the space and facilities to stock a wider range of parts and to better serve an increasing number of customers.

With this move, Sanders Parts took an important step towards further professionalisation and growth opportunities, laying the foundation for the next stages of development.

Expansion: Extending the warehouse

Demand for our products continued to grow steadily, making the need for further expansion increasingly urgent. In 2003, an important step was taken to accommodate this growth: the warehouse was expanded from 450 m² to an impressive 1020 m². This expansion allowed us to stock a wider range of parts and respond more quickly to our customers' needs.

The new warehouse space was designed with the latest logistics techniques and improved storage capacities. This enabled us to increase the efficiency of our internal processes and improve service to our customers. Nevertheless, this investment soon proved insufficient to keep up with rapidly growing demand.

The number of customers continued to rise and the complexity of operations increased, indicating that we needed to prepare for an even larger space. The 2003 expansion brought us much, but also made it clear that we needed to prepare for the next phase of our expansion in order to continue to fulfil our ambitions and customer expectations.

A new horizon: Establishment in Dendermonde

To meet growing demand, it was decided in 2012 to look for a larger commercial building or a suitable plot of industrial land, preferably close to the existing site. At the end of 2013, a 8270 m² plot of land was purchased in Hoogveld in Dendermonde. Preparations, permits and building plans were started, and in July 2014 construction work began.

On 15 May 2015, the new premises were officially inaugurated. With a 5,000 m² warehouse and more than 600 m² of offices and meeting rooms, the new location provided the space and facilities needed to support Sanders Parts' continued growth and continue to provide a high-quality service.
